This is a pure organic chamomile tea — 100% whole chamomile flowers, naturally caffeine-free, and nothing else. Sourced from the clean mountain soil of the Balkans in Europe, it's one simple, beautiful ingredient done right — a calming evening cup you'll come back to night after night.
The Story of Our Chamomile Tea
Not all chamomile is created equal.
The chamomile that fills most tea bags around the world is farmed extensively — grown at scale in India and Egypt, where volume matters more than purity. We took a different path.
Our founder sources chamomile flowers directly from the Balkans in Europe — a region known for some of the cleanest soil on the continent. The Balkans have never been used as nuclear testing sites, and the mountain villages where our chamomile grows have been untouched by heavy industry. The result is a flower that is cleaner, more fragrant, and naturally sweeter than anything you'll find in a mass-market tea bag.
This is not a complicated blend. It's a pure organic chamomile tea made from a single, beautiful ingredient — whole organic chamomile flowers — done right. Sometimes the simplest things deserve the most care.
What Chamomile Tea Tastes Like
🌼 First sip: Soft, golden warmth with a gentle floral sweetness 🍯 Mid-palate: A natural honey-like smoothness — no bitterness, no astringency 🌙 Finish: A clean, lingering calm that settles in like the end of a long day
Our customers say:
- No sweetener needed — the natural floral sweetness stands on its own
- Add a touch of honey if you like, but try it plain first
- Pairs beautifully with a quiet evening and nowhere to be
How to Brew Chamomile Tea
Standard cup: Pour freshly boiled water (200–212°F) over one tea bag. Steep 5–7 minutes. Gently squeeze the bag before removing to release every last drop of flavor.
Stronger brew: Use two bags or steep 10+ minutes. Chamomile only gets smoother and sweeter the longer it steeps — you cannot over-brew this tea.
Evening ritual: Brew one bag in your favorite mug about 30 minutes before you want to wind down. Sip slowly. No phone. Just the cup and the quiet.
Iced chamomile: Brew two bags in a small amount of hot water. Let cool, pour over ice, and add a squeeze of fresh lemon. A surprisingly refreshing summer drink.

Chamomile Tea — FAQ
What makes this chamomile different from other chamomile teas? Most chamomile tea on the market is farmed extensively in India or Egypt. Our chamomile is sourced from the mountains of the Balkans in Europe — a region with exceptionally clean soil and no history of nuclear testing or heavy industrial use. The difference shows up in the flavor: naturally sweeter, more fragrant, and with no bitterness.
Is this tea caffeine-free? Yes. Chamomile is a naturally caffeine-free herb. This tea contains no added caffeine of any kind, making it perfect for your evening routine.
Do I need to add sweetener? Most of our customers don't. The Balkans-sourced chamomile has a natural floral sweetness that stands on its own. But if you prefer a touch of sweetness, honey is the best pairing.
When is the best time to drink this tea? Anytime you want a quiet, calming moment. Many of our customers make it part of their bedtime ritual, but it's equally lovely in the afternoon or whenever you need a pause.
Is this an organic chamomile tea? Yes — it's a pure organic chamomile tea: 100% organic chamomile flowers, nothing else, USDA Organic and naturally caffeine-free. You may also see it searched as a herbal chamomile tea, chamomile herb tea, or herb chamomile tea — they all mean this same single-ingredient cup.
Does chamomile tea have any side effects? Chamomile comes from the daisy (Asteraceae) family. If you are allergic to ragweed, daisies, marigolds, or related plants, check with your healthcare provider before drinking it. As with any herbal tea, consult your provider if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication.
Founder's Note
"We procure our chamomile from the pure mountains of the Balkans. Most chamomile in the world today is farmed extensively from India and Egypt. The Balkans have never been used as nuclear testing sites — the environment is very clean. You can taste it. You don't need any sweetener because it's got a nice, sweet, flowery fragrance all on its own. This is just a basic, very high-quality chamomile for your calmest, quietest moments." — Founder of Herbal Cup Tea
