If turmeric tea usually tastes a little too bold to you, start with this ginger chamomile tea: soft, honeyed Balkans chamomile comes first, with turmeric and warm ginger arriving gently underneath. It's caffeine-free, and you still get the golden warmth without the intensity.

Why We Blend Chamomile with Turmeric and Ginger

Turmeric is one of the most sought-after herbs in the world. But not everyone finds it easy to enjoy — the earthiness can feel strong, the spice can feel like a lot, especially if you're new to it. Our founder saw the same thing again and again: people wanted turmeric in their cup, but they wanted it softer.

That's why this blend exists. We started with chamomile grown in the mountains of the Balkans — the same chamomile that makes our Organic Chamomile Tea so smooth and naturally sweet. Then we added our signature 5.5% curcumin turmeric and warming ginger root, letting the chamomile wrap around the spice like a gentle introduction.

The result is a cup that delivers turmeric's golden character without ever raising its voice.

What Our Turmeric Chamomile Tea Tastes Like

🌼 First sip: Soft chamomile sweetness — floral and honeyed 🌿 Mid-palate: Golden turmeric warmth rises gently, earthy and smooth, never harsh 🔥 Finish: A quiet ginger glow builds at the end — warming, not spicy — and fades softly

Tasting notes: floral chamomile sweetness, golden turmeric earthiness, gentle ginger warmth, smooth and rounded

Favorite add-ins:

  • Honey — the most natural pairing, enhances the floral sweetness
  • Warm whole milk — turns this into the gentlest golden latte you've ever had
  • A squeeze of lemon — lifts the chamomile brightness even further
  • Try it plain first — the chamomile brings its own sweetness

How to Brew Chamomile Ginger Turmeric Tea

Standard cup: Pour freshly boiled water (200–212°F) over one tea bag. Steep 5–7 minutes. The chamomile comes forward first; the turmeric and ginger reveal themselves as the steep deepens.

Stronger brew: Use two bags or steep 10+ minutes. This blend only gets smoother and more layered with time. Gently press the tea bag with a spoon before removing to release every last drop.

Gentle Golden Latte: Brew one bag in a small amount of water. Add warm whole milk and a spoonful of honey. The chamomile makes this the softest, most approachable turmeric latte you can make — perfect for evenings.

Evening cup: Brew one bag once the dishes are done and sip it slowly. Let the chamomile lead and the turmeric warm quietly in the background.

Iced version: Brew two bags in a small amount of hot water, let cool, pour over ice. Add honey and a lemon slice. A surprisingly smooth and refreshing golden cooler.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Chamomile Ginger Turmeric Tea taste like? Soft, floral, and gently warming. The chamomile leads with a natural sweetness, the turmeric adds a smooth golden earthiness in the middle, and the ginger closes with a quiet warmth — no harsh spice, no bitterness. It's the most approachable tea in our turmeric family.

Is this tea caffeine-free? Yes. This is a 100% herbal blend — chamomile, turmeric, and ginger — naturally caffeine-free. You can enjoy it morning, afternoon, or evening.

What's the difference between this and your Turmeric Ginger & Black Pepper tea? Our Turmeric Ginger & Black Pepper is bold, earthy, and spice-forward — one of our best sellers, made for people who love intense turmeric flavor. This blend takes the opposite approach: chamomile softens the turmeric into something gentler and more floral. Think of Turmeric Ginger & Black Pepper as the bold original and this as the gentle introduction.

Who is this chamomile and ginger tea with turmeric best for? Anyone who finds regular turmeric teas too strong or too spicy, people who prefer softer floral teas but want a touch of warming spice, and anyone new to turmeric who wants to start with something approachable and smooth.

Where does the chamomile come from? We source our chamomile from the mountains of the Balkans in Europe — the same chamomile we use in our Organic Chamomile Tea.

Can I make a Golden Latte with this? Absolutely. Brew one bag in a small amount of water, add warm whole milk and honey. The chamomile base makes this the gentlest, smoothest turmeric latte you can make.

Founder's Note

"Most people find turmeric very strong — the earthiness, the spice, it can be a lot. That's why I created this blend. We take our chamomile from the mountains of the Balkans and combine it with our 5.5% curcumin turmeric and ginger. The chamomile softens everything. It makes the turmeric approachable. Once you try it, you understand why they belong in the same cup." — Founder of Herbal Cup Tea
