Why This Tea Works

Turmeric Root

Organic turmeric root, rich in curcumin — a cornerstone of Ayurvedic wellness tradition for centuries.

Ginger Root

Organic ginger root with natural gingerol — prized in Ayurveda for its warming, aromatic qualities.

Black Pepper

Black pepper with natural piperine — traditionally combined with turmeric in Ayurveda to enhance its benefits.

"Black pepper is the key — it's traditionally paired with turmeric in Ayurvedic practice to enhance absorption."

Hook

Moringa leaves carry one of the most concentrated nutritional profiles in the plant world — vitamins, minerals, and the antioxidant flavonoids that earned the moringa tree its nickname, "the miracle tree." We blended ours with cinnamon bark, tulsi, lemongrass and ginger to turn that nutrition into a cup that actually tastes good.

Story

In Ayurveda, moringa is sometimes called "shigru" — a plant so nutritious that traditional households have grown it next to the kitchen door for generations. The leaves are eaten, dried, ground, and yes, brewed.

The challenge with moringa tea is taste. On its own, moringa leaves can read flat and grassy. Our solution is the Ayurvedic pairing: warming cinnamon bark to round the body, holy basil (tulsi) for its sacred herbal depth, lemongrass for brightness, and ginger root for the gentle finish. Stevia leaf adds a soft natural sweetness — no sugar, nothing artificial.

This is the moringa tea you can actually drink every day.

What You'll Taste

🌱 First sip: Soft, leafy moringa — clean and green 🪵 Mid-palate: Warming cinnamon and tulsi — round, slightly sweet 🍋 Finish: Bright lemongrass and a touch of ginger spice

Our customers' favorite add-ins: - Honey or a slice of fresh apple — natural sweetness - A squeeze of lemon — sharpens the brightness - Warm milk + a pinch of black pepper — for a moringa-cinnamon latte

How to Brew

Standard cup: Pour boiling water (200–212°F) over one tea bag. Steep 5–7 minutes.

Stronger brew: Two bags or 10+ minutes. Press the bag with a spoon before removing — moringa releases more flavor with a little patience.

Iced moringa: Brew strong, cool, and pour over ice with a slice of lemon. A clean alternative to sweetened iced tea.

In the kitchen: Drop a brewed bag into oatmeal or smoothies for a hidden nutrient boost.

Founder's Note

"Moringa is one of those ingredients that I grew up with — my grandfather would talk about it like it was medicine in plant form. The trick was making it taste like something you'd actually want to drink. Cinnamon and tulsi do that work." — Founder of Herbal Cup Tea
