Hook
Three ingredients. Nothing else. Organic ginger root, organic spearmint leaves and organic lemon peel — the three after-meal herbs that have been used in kitchens from Southeast Asia to the Mediterranean for centuries. A revitalizing cup hot or chilled.
Story
This is the tea I drink after dinner.
Ginger root — the rhizome of the ginger plant — is widely used as a spice and in folk medicine, native to Southeast Asia where cuisines feature it everywhere. It is prized for its medicinal, culinary and aromatic properties. Ginger has been a kitchen staple for centuries, used fresh, powdered, dried, juiced or as oil.
Spearmint is native to Europe and Asia — a pleasantly aromatic plant rich in vitamins, antioxidants and the natural compounds limonene and carvone (the molecules that give it that bright, cool finish). It's enjoyed worldwide as an invigorating tea, and it's a classic after-meal companion.
Lemon peel brings the citrusy zest that ties ginger and mint together. Real peel — not flavoring.
That's the whole tea. Three ingredients you can pronounce.
What You'll Taste
🌶️ First sip: Bold, warming ginger 🌿 Mid-palate: Cool, bright spearmint 🍋 Finish: Lemon peel zest — clean and lingering
Our customers' favorite add-ins: - Honey — the classic finishing touch - A slice of fresh lemon — for extra brightness - Hot or iced — works equally well both ways
How to Brew
Standard cup: Pour boiling water (200–212°F) over one tea bag. Steep 5–7 minutes.
Stronger brew: Two bags or 10+ minutes for a more pronounced ginger heat.
After-meal ritual: Brew one cup after dinner. The ginger and spearmint together are a classic combination across many traditions for the post-meal moment.
Iced: Brew strong, cool, pour over ice with extra lemon. A clean, naturally hydrating drink for warm days.

FAQ
Is this tea caffeine-free? Yes. Ginger root, spearmint and lemon peel are all naturally caffeine-free.
Spearmint or peppermint — which is in this tea? Spearmint. Spearmint is softer, slightly sweeter, with a rounded mint character. Peppermint is sharper and more menthol-forward. We chose spearmint for after-meal balance.
Is the lemon real? Yes. Organic lemon peel — the actual outer rind of the lemon, dried. No "lemon flavoring."
Can I make this iced? Yes — it's one of the best iced teas in our lineup. Brew strong, cool, pour over ice. Add a fresh lemon slice.
Does ginger have a strong heat? Moderate. Steeping for the full 7 minutes gives a noticeable warming finish. Two bags doubles the heat.
Founder's Note
"Sometimes the simplest blend is the right one. Ginger, mint, lemon — every culture has some version of this combination. We just kept it organic and kept it clean." — Founder of Herbal Cup Tea
