Why This Tea Works

Turmeric Root

Organic turmeric root, rich in curcumin — a cornerstone of Ayurvedic wellness tradition for centuries.

Ginger Root

Organic ginger root with natural gingerol — prized in Ayurveda for its warming, aromatic qualities.

Black Pepper

Black pepper with natural piperine — traditionally combined with turmeric in Ayurveda to enhance its benefits.

"Black pepper is the key — it's traditionally paired with turmeric in Ayurvedic practice to enhance absorption."

Most apple cinnamon teas use artificial flavoring and call it a day — ours is made with real organic apples sourced from the Balkans, and you can taste the difference from the very first sip. A full-bodied, sweetish-tart apple flavor wrapped in warm cinnamon bark, with a hint of hibiscus tang and gentle stevia sweetness — caffeine-free, USDA Organic, and good enough to replace dessert.

Why We Made a Cozy Apple Cinnamon Tea

We might be the only tea company in America using real apples from the Balkans.

That is not something we say to sound impressive. It is simply what happens when you refuse to cut corners. Most apple teas on the shelf — even the ones with pretty autumn packaging — rely on apple flavoring, not actual fruit. We went a different way entirely. We source real organic apple fruit from the Balkans in Europe and combine it with warm cinnamon bark, a touch of hibiscus for brightness, and stevia leaf for a clean, natural sweetness.

The result surprised even us. We originally thought of this as a holiday tea — something for fall, for chilly evenings, for those moments when you want your kitchen to smell like a bakery. But our customers had other plans. People recognized the quality immediately. They could taste the freshness of the apples. They started drinking it year-round — in the morning, after dinner, before bed. A tea that was supposed to be seasonal became one of our regulars.

That is what real ingredients do. When you put actual fruit and actual spice in the cup, you do not need a calendar to tell you when to enjoy it.

What Apple Cinnamon Tea Tastes Like

🍎 First sip: Bright, crisp apple sweetness — not candy-like, but fresh and real, like biting into a just-picked apple 🌿 Mid-palate: Warm cinnamon builds underneath — bakery-spice warmth that wraps around the apple and deepens it into full-bodied, sweetish-tart territory 🌺 Finish: A subtle hibiscus tang lifts the end, followed by gentle stevia sweetness that fades clean — no aftertaste, just warmth

Tasting notes: fresh apple · warm cinnamon bark · sweet-tart balance · light hibiscus tang · bakery-spice warmth · clean finish

Our customers' favorite add-ins:

  • A drizzle of honey — turns it into liquid apple pie
  • A splash of warm milk — cozy, creamy, dessert-like
  • A pinch of fresh cinnamon on top — as our founder says, "we already have plenty of cinnamon in the blend, but if you want to go all in, a little extra never hurts"
  • Nothing at all — the stevia leaf gives it a gentle natural sweetness on its own

How to Brew Apple Cinnamon Tea (Hot, Iced or Latte)

Standard cup: Pour freshly boiled water (200-212°F) over one tea bag. Steep 5-7 minutes. The apple comes forward first; the cinnamon warmth deepens as the steep goes on. Leave the tea bag in the cup for a fuller, richer experience.

Stronger brew: Use two bags or steep 10+ minutes. Gently press the tea bag with a spoon before removing to release every last drop. Herbal teas never turn bitter — they only get richer, and this one rewards patience with more apple depth and cinnamon warmth.

Dessert cup: Brew one bag for 7-10 minutes. Add a drizzle of honey and a splash of warm milk. This is apple pie in a mug — the cinnamon and apple become creamy and indulgent, and it is completely caffeine-free.

Our founder's evening ritual: Steep one bag in boiling water for a full 10 minutes. Squeeze the bag gently. Drink it as warm as possible before bed. No sweetener needed — the apple and stevia already deliver. A really, really good dessert tea to close out the day.

Iced apple cinnamon: Brew two bags in a small amount of hot water for 10 minutes. Let cool, pour over ice. Add a squeeze of lemon and honey if desired. Surprisingly refreshing — the apple tartness and cinnamon spice work beautifully cold.

Apple Cinnamon Tea — FAQ

What does Organic Apple Cinnamon Tea taste like? Full-bodied, naturally sweet, and sweetish-tart — like fresh apples wrapped in warm cinnamon. The first thing you notice is the bright, crisp apple flavor — it tastes real because it is real. Cinnamon bark builds underneath with bakery-spice warmth, hibiscus adds a subtle tang, and stevia leaf finishes with a gentle natural sweetness. Many customers describe it as apple pie in a cup.

Is this tea caffeine-free? Can I drink it before bed? Yes, it is completely caffeine-free. It contains no green tea, black tea, or any caffeinated ingredients. Many of our customers drink it as a dessert tea after dinner or as their last cup before bed.

Does this tea contain real apples? Yes. We use real organic apple fruit sourced from the Balkans in Europe — not apple flavoring, not apple extract. Real fruit. Our founder believes we may be the only tea company in America sourcing real Balkans apples for a tea blend, and you can taste the difference immediately.

Why the Balkans? What makes those apples different? The Balkans are known for clean soil, traditional farming methods, and a climate that produces fruit with exceptional flavor. The apples we source carry a freshness and natural sweetness that comes through clearly in the cup — no artificial enhancement needed.

Is this just a seasonal tea, or can I drink it year-round? We originally positioned it as a holiday and fall tea, but our customers turned it into an everyday staple. The warm apple-cinnamon flavor works beautifully in any season — cozy in winter, refreshing over ice in summer. It is a dessert tea without a calendar.

Does it contain sugar or artificial sweeteners? No sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavoring of any kind. The sweetness comes from the natural apple fruit itself and a touch of organic stevia leaf. Four organic ingredients — that is it.

Is this a cinnamon apple spice tea? Yes — it's an organic apple cinnamon tea (also called a cinnamon apple tea or apple cinnamon spice tea). Whether you searched for a cinnamon apple spice herbal tea or a cinnamon apple herbal tea, this is the same caffeine-free, naturally sweet apple-and-cinnamon blend.

Founder's Note

"I think we're the only company in America that uses real apples from the Balkans. We combine it with cinnamon, and it creates something special — a full-bodied sweetness, kind of sweetish, sourish, with the warmth of the cinnamon. You can almost taste the freshness of the apples. We originally made this as more of a holiday tea, but it became a regular tea because people recognized the quality. A lot of our customers tell us they can taste the difference immediately. It's really, really good as a dessert tea or to drink before you go to bed. The best way would be to put a little bit of fresh cinnamon on top, but honestly — we already have enough cinnamon in there." — Founder of Herbal Cup Tea
