Our current lifestyle is full of pollutants, stress and toxins. People are reaching out to natural herbs and herbal infusions to help feel better. Liver Happy is built around four traditional roots — dandelion, turmeric, sarsaparilla and burdock — used in folk traditions across Europe, India and the Americas as part of a regular wellness ritual.
Why We Blend Four Traditional Roots
This is a roots blend. The traditions behind each ingredient are old and well-known.
Dandelion Root has been used in Europe and Asia to help maintain normal function by elimination of toxins from the body. Turmeric Root is known for curcumin — one of the curcuminoids from the rhizome of the turmeric plant — celebrated for its many health benefits. Sarsaparilla Root has been used since the 16th century for many ailments, one of them being to help cleanse and rid the body of toxins. Burdock Root is used by many cultures as a food as well as for its many healing properties — in the Orient it is used to help rid the body of toxins.
We add tulsi (holy basil), ginger root, lemongrass and a touch of stevia to round the cup so it actually tastes like something you can drink — not like medicine.
