This is the tea where moringa takes the lead. Organic moringa leaves — from the tree known across Africa as the "miracle tree," with 77 naturally occurring minerals and more protein than most plants — blended with our signature 5.5% curcumin turmeric, hibiscus flowers, licorice root, and black pepper into a green-gold cup that tastes as alive as it looks.
Why Moringa Leads This Blend
Moringa is called the miracle tree. In Africa, it is called the miracle tree — and when you understand why, you understand this tea.
You can eat the herbs. The leaves, the flowers, the bark, the fruit — all of it. Moringa has 77 minerals. It is the highest known plant source of vitamin C. More protein than most other plants. In Africa and India, it has been grown for centuries as a protein-rich alternative to meat. This is not some new trendy ingredient. It has been used for thousands of years as food.
Our founder wanted to build a tea where moringa was the star — not the sidekick. In our Turmeric Ginger Moringa blend, turmeric leads and ginger brings the heat. That is a warming, spicy cup. This one is different. Here, moringa comes first. The green, mineral character of the leaf is what you taste first, what fills the cup, what stays with you. Turmeric supports it with golden earthiness. Hibiscus lifts it with a bright, fruity tang. Licorice root smooths everything out with natural sweetness. And black pepper finishes it clean.
Now you combine moringa with turmeric — two super herbs in one cup. The moringa with all its multi-minerals, combined with turmeric and its curcumin. This is a very clean, very green, very complete formula.
What You'll Taste
🌿 First sip: Clean, leafy green — moringa's earthy, mineral-rich character arrives first, smooth and grounding 🌺 Mid-palate: A bright, fruity tartness from hibiscus cuts through the green depth, followed by a wave of golden turmeric warmth 🍯 Finish: Licorice root brings a natural, rounded sweetness that lingers, with a subtle peppery bite from black pepper to sharpen the close
Tasting notes: leafy green, mineral-rich, hibiscus tartness, golden turmeric warmth, naturally sweet finish, clean pepper bite
How this differs from our Turmeric Ginger Moringa (#08):
- This tea (Moringa Turmeric): Moringa leads. Green, mineral-forward, with hibiscus brightness and licorice sweetness. A leafy, grounded cup.
- Turmeric Ginger Moringa: Turmeric leads with bold ginger heat. Warm, spicy, more fire-forward. A very different experience.
Our customers' favorite add-ins:
- Honey — rounds out the green earthiness and pairs beautifully with the hibiscus tang
- Fresh lemon — brightens the mineral notes into something sparkling
- A splash of oat milk — softens the leafy character into a creamy, green-gold latte
- Iced with honey and lemon — a vibrant, mineral-rich cooler
How to Brew
Standard cup: Pour boiling water (200–212°F) over one tea bag. Steep 5–7 minutes. The moringa's green character comes forward first; the longer you steep, the more the turmeric and hibiscus develop underneath.
Stronger brew: Use two bags or steep 10+ minutes. Herbal teas never get bitter — they only get richer. Gently press the tea bag with a spoon before removing to release every last drop of herbal extract.
Green-Gold Moringa Latte: Brew one bag in a small amount of hot water. Add warm oat milk or whole milk and a spoonful of honey. The moringa gives this latte a distinctly green, mineral-rich body — completely different from a standard golden turmeric latte.
Hibiscus Moringa Iced Tea: Brew two bags in hot water. Let cool, pour over a full glass of ice, and add honey. The hibiscus gives it a gorgeous ruby-gold color in the glass, and the moringa keeps it grounded and earthy underneath.
Best enjoyed: As warm as possible. Squeeze the bag before removing — you want everything those herbs have to offer in your cup.
