Maca Ashwagandha Tea — Organic Ayurvedic Root Blend
Natural Bright & Focused Support
Why This Tea Works
Turmeric Root
Organic turmeric root, rich in curcumin — a cornerstone of Ayurvedic wellness tradition for centuries.
Ginger Root
Organic ginger root with natural gingerol — prized in Ayurveda for its warming, aromatic qualities.
Black Pepper
Black pepper with natural piperine — traditionally combined with turmeric in Ayurveda to enhance its benefits.
"Black pepper is the key — it's traditionally paired with turmeric in Ayurvedic practice to enhance absorption."
This is not a gentle, sip-and-forget herbal tea — this is a raw, root-powered cup built from two of the most revered roots in traditional wellness. Organic maca root from Peru and ashwagandha from the deserts of Rajasthan, India, blended with ginger, tulsi, lemongrass, and hibiscus in our California facility.
Why Maca and Ashwagandha Belong Together
Some teas are crowd-pleasers. This one is a commitment.
Our founder calls this "a very, very good formula — a very unique formula." He spent years sourcing the two roots at the heart of this blend: pure maca from the high Andes of Peru, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years at altitudes above 13,000 feet, and ashwagandha from the arid desert of Rajasthan, India — the same region where Ayurvedic practitioners have harvested it for centuries.
These are not trendy superfoods sprinkled in for label appeal. They are the backbone of the cup. Ginger brings warmth, tulsi adds an herbal depth rooted in Indian tradition, lemongrass lifts the aroma, and hibiscus rounds out the finish. But make no mistake — you will taste the roots first, last, and in between.
This blend exists because our founder believes the best teas don't hide behind sweetness. They stand on the strength of their ingredients.
What Maca Ashwagandha Tea Tastes Like
🌿 First sip: Deep, earthy, unmistakably rooty — the maca and ashwagandha announce themselves immediately 🔥 Mid-palate: Warm ginger heat with a grounding, slightly malty body from the maca 🌺 Finish: A faint tartness from the hibiscus, a whisper of lemongrass, and a long, earthy aftertaste
Let's be honest about the taste: This tea is divisive. Some of our customers say "earthy and grounding." Others say "garden dirt." We think that's a feature, not a bug. If you appreciate the raw, unfiltered character of roots — the way a straight espresso or a peaty scotch isn't for everyone — this cup will feel like home.
If you want to smooth the edges:
- Add fresh turmeric or ground turmeric — deepens the golden warmth
- A few slices of fresh ginger — amplifies the heat
- A squeeze of lemon — brightens the earthiness
- Our founder's add-ins: dragon fruit, celery, asparagus, or fresh turmeric blended in
Our founder's recommendation: No milk. No sweetener. Let the roots speak.
How to Brew Maca Ashwagandha Tea
Standard cup: Pour boiling water (200–212°F) over one tea bag. Steep 7–10 minutes. This tea rewards patience — steep longer for fuller extraction. Gently press the tea bag with a spoon before removing to release the remaining extract.
Stronger brew: Use two bags in a single cup. Steep 12–15 minutes. The longer you steep, the more you taste the roots.
Founder's Power Method (his personal routine): Brew 5–6 tea bags in a large pot of hot water. Let it steep fully. Pour into a glass container and store in the fridge. Each morning, warm a cup and drink it first thing — no milk, no sweetener. Just the roots and hot water.
Combination brew: Brew 3–4 bags of Maca Ashwagandha alongside 3–4 bags of Ashwagandha Moringa for a bold double-root cup. Add fresh ginger, turmeric, dragon fruit, celery, or asparagus. As our founder says: "Then it becomes a really robust, full-flavored cup."
Best enjoyed: As warm as possible. Many of our customers make this their morning ritual.

This is an honest, no-frills herbal tea — if you enjoy the character of raw roots, you'll love it. If you prefer lighter teas, consider starting with our Turmeric Ginger & Black Pepper blend first.
Is this tea caffeine-free? Yes. All our Ayurvedic herbal blends are naturally caffeine-free. Many customers enjoy it in the morning as an alternative to coffee, but it can be consumed at any time of day.
Where do the maca and ashwagandha come from? Our maca is pure maca root sourced from Peru, where it has been cultivated in the Andes for thousands of years. Our ashwagandha is grown in the desert of Rajasthan, India — one of the traditional growing regions for this root in Ayurvedic practice.
How should I brew this for the best experience? Steep one bag in boiling water for at least 7–10 minutes — this tea benefits from a longer steep. For a stronger cup, use two bags. Our founder brews 5–6 bags in a pot, refrigerates it, and drinks a warm cup each morning.
Can I combine this with other Herbal Cup teas? Absolutely. Our founder recommends brewing Maca Ashwagandha alongside Ashwagandha Moringa — 3–4 bags of each — for a deeper root-based blend. You can also add fresh ginger, turmeric, or dragon fruit.
Is this a maca root tea? Yes — it's an organic maca root tea. Each bag is filled with cut organic maca root from Peru and ashwagandha root — not a loose powder. A bold, earthy, caffeine-free way to enjoy maca root in tea every day.
