Turmeric Lemon Ginger Organic Tea
Golden Turmeric
This lemon ginger turmeric tea is for anyone who likes turmeric but wants a brighter cup: organic lime peel and lemongrass up front, then earthy turmeric, slow ginger heat and a peppery finish. It's naturally caffeine-free and just as good iced with honey.
Why We Blend Turmeric and Ginger with Lime Peel and Lemongrass
We already had a best-selling turmeric tea. We didn't need another one. But our founder kept coming back to the same idea: what if you could take that deep, golden turmeric warmth and make it brighter?
The answer was citrus: organic lime peel and lemongrass leaves, sourced and blended alongside the same 5.5% curcumin turmeric that built Herbal Cup's reputation. The ginger is still there for warmth. The black pepper is still there as turmeric's traditional Ayurvedic companion. But now there's a citrus zing running through the entire cup — a brightness that lifts everything.
This is the tea for people who love turmeric but want it zestier, with the citrus arriving before the familiar turmeric and ginger warmth.
What Turmeric Lemon Ginger Tea Tastes Like
🍃 First sip: A clean, citrusy lift: lime peel and lemongrass arrive first, bright and sparkling 🌿 Mid-palate: Golden turmeric warmth rolls in underneath, earthy and smooth 🔥 Finish: Ginger heat builds slowly, and a whisper of black pepper sharpens the close — warm, clean, lasting
Tasting notes: citrus zest, fresh lemongrass, golden turmeric warmth, ginger spice, subtle peppery finish
Our customers' favorite add-ins:
- Honey — the classic pairing, rounds out the citrus beautifully
- Fresh lemon slice — doubles down on the brightness
- Iced with honey — a refreshing golden citrus cooler for warm days
- A splash of coconut milk — for a tropical-golden latte twist
How to Brew Turmeric Ginger Lemon Tea
Standard cup: Pour boiling water (200–212°F) over one tea bag. Steep 5–7 minutes. The citrus notes come forward first; the longer you steep, the more the turmeric and ginger deepen underneath.
Stronger brew: Use two bags or steep 10+ minutes. Gently press the tea bag with a spoon before removing to release every last drop.
Citrus Golden Iced Tea: Brew two bags in a small amount of hot water. Let cool, pour over a full glass of ice, and add a drizzle of honey and a fresh lemon wheel. Bright, refreshing, and gorgeous in the glass.
Double Turmeric Mug: Steep one bag of Turmeric Lemon Ginger with one bag of Turmeric Ginger & Black Pepper in a large mug. Our founder likes the pairing: this blend's citrus against the deeper spice of the original.
In the kitchen: Drop 1–2 tea bags into light soups, rice dishes, or fish marinades for a citrus-turmeric twist.

What's the difference between this and your Turmeric Ginger & Black Pepper tea? Our Turmeric Ginger & Black Pepper is warm, earthy, and spice-forward — a deep golden cup. This blend adds organic lime peel and lemongrass for a citrus dimension that brightens the entire profile. Think of Turmeric Ginger as the deep, warm original, and this as the bright, zesty variation.
Is this a turmeric ginger lemongrass tea? Yes. Organic lemongrass leaves and organic lime peel give it the citrus top note, over a base of organic turmeric root, ginger root and black peppercorns.
How should I brew this tea for the best flavor? Steep one tea bag in freshly boiled water for 5–7 minutes. For a stronger cup, use two bags or steep 10+ minutes. This tea is also excellent iced — brew strong, pour over ice, and add honey and a lemon slice.
A Note from Herbal Cup
The citrus in this cup comes from organic lime peel and lemongrass leaves, blended with the same turmeric, ginger and black pepper as our original Turmeric Ginger & Black Pepper. We wanted a turmeric tea where the brightness lands first and the golden warmth follows, and it's the one we suggest to anyone who likes turmeric but wants a zestier cup. Hot with a spoon of honey or iced on a warm day, the order stays the same: citrus first, then ginger heat.
